Good news: It's not a broken bone
Daylight Saving Time ended on Saturday night/Sunday morning, giving everyone on the cruise an extra hour to do whatever they wanted. My cell phone was in airplane mode, so the 6:30 alarm I set actually went off at 5:30.
Since my leg was still hurting, I used a wheelchair to get off the ship, as well as wheelchairs to get through the airports. It was snowing like crazy between Denver and Colorado Springs. At home, I didn't feel like struggling with my luggage and my bad leg. I drove to the hospital where the staff took X-rays and gave me some stronger meds. One good thing is that no broken bones were found, though the doctor said more X-rays may be needed if the pain continues after a week or more. I need to contact my regular doctor to have more tests done, including an MRI on my leg muscles and joints.
