I made a last-minute decision to attend Primerica's potluck this afternoon. Since I didn't give myself enough time to shop for ingredients for the crab-cake sandwiches, I bought a "party size" orange chicken and rice frozen dinner.
As much as I like being a "team player" at Primerica, I feel like I was pressured into attending the potluck. I know everyone there will be having fun (I'll certainly try.) Unfortunately, my social anxiety and anxiety around kids tend to get in the way of my happiness, which is why I try to avoid these situations. I definitely won't arrive early this time since I know where the house is located.
