Mar. 23rd, 2008 11:32 pmFor the first time in about three years, I'm late to work. I had set my alarm for 10:40 p.m., but I forgot to actually turn the alarm on. I wound up waking at 11:53. I didn't get to bed until 6:30 or 7:00, so that extra hour and 10 minutes of sleep didn't hurt.
At KRCC, I filled in for the person who normally comes in after me. One of the Sunday programs is the Thomas Jefferson Hour, where an actor portrays Jefferson and gives his view on both his presidency and the modern world. At the end of the show, the announcer invites listeners to submit their questions and comments to Jefferson. I imagined George Costanza from "Seinfeld" asking Jefferson about what they used for toilet paper back then.
