Solo Thanksgiving

Dad let me know he would be having Thanksgiving dinner with my brother's family. Since three of my family members were recently diagnosed with COVID-19, I will order and pick up the ingredients from King Soopers on Saturday for my own dinner. I hope Dad doesn't get infected since I usually have dinner with him on Fridays.

 

In-N-Out Burger opened its Colorado locations Friday. I didn't go, but the massive lines caused people to wait for up to 14 hours. There were similar crowds back when chains like Jack In The Box and Krispy Kreme opened their first locations in the state. I'll wait until the hype and crowds die down a bit before going there. Another local restaurant called Drifter's has a menu similar to In-N-Out, though its version of "animal style" burgers is called "wild style."
