New Year's

In 2009, lunchiesdogangl resolves to...
Take evening classes in improv.
Connect with my inner lingo.
Admit my true feelings to goldenrod.
Overcome my secret fear of jokes.
Cut down to ten dogs a day.
Spend more time with my dvds.
Get your own New Year's Resolutions:

-- I took evening improv classes back in 2004, but taking them again (when I get a new job to pay for them) wouldn't hurt.
-- I think I'm pretty well connected with my inner Lingo. I just wish GSN would get connected and produce some new episodes.
-- I've already accomplished spending more time with my DVDs.

This is Nacho Week!

Ah, crap! I forgot to call the lady I was matched with through the dating service. She asked me to call her this week to arrange a meeting, but I've been so busy and stressed out. I guess it's too late today, so this will have to wait until tomorrow.

Over the weekend, I completed a third compilation of "Lingo" mistakes. This one includes Chuck Woolery offering to give contestants The Nacho Award because "this is nacho game! (not your game)"

EDIT (4/17/2013): I've had to remove the Lingo videos from my YouTube account due to copyright violation warnings from GSN.

"Abled" isn't a word?

I'm watching "Lingo" right now. Someone guessed "abled," but he was told it isn't a word. I always thought it was, since "disabled" is a word. I've also heard disabled people referred to (in PC terms) as "differently abled." Well, the little red underline that appears for misspelled words appeared under it as I typed it, so I guess its status as a non-word is official.

I bought a new copy of the Juno DVD and sent it overnight via UPS to the eBay winner. If the post office actually does return the DVD that was postage-due, I'll just keep it for myself since I've heard great things about it, and it stars some of the former cast from "Arrested Development."
