"Abled" isn't a word?
May. 27th, 2008 10:47 amI'm watching "Lingo" right now. Someone guessed "abled," but he was told it isn't a word. I always thought it was, since "disabled" is a word. I've also heard disabled people referred to (in PC terms) as "differently abled." Well, the little red underline that appears for misspelled words appeared under it as I typed it, so I guess its status as a non-word is official.
I bought a new copy of the Juno DVD and sent it overnight via UPS to the eBay winner. If the post office actually does return the DVD that was postage-due, I'll just keep it for myself since I've heard great things about it, and it stars some of the former cast from "Arrested Development."
