Not worth it

I think I've got a local fur meet version of PCD. I'm also about to write a "depressed rambling emo rant," so I'll put it under a cut to save everyone the pain of scrolling through it.

I've always heard the phrase "The love of money is the root of all evil." Well, since I've never made enough of it to live comfortably, I wouldn't know how that feels. I'm sorry I don't have the luxury of having a wife or live-in girlfriend (that's a separate rant altogether) who could provide a second income for the household. I work part-time on weekends because my former weekday job didn't pay me enough to make ends meet (and another job thought so little of me I was only hired on a fill-in basis.) This is still the case, so don't ask me to give up something I've enjoyed and worked hard at for 8 years if you can't pay more than what I earn there.

For Trek Alliance, Profit Masters and Primerica, I'm sorry I was gullible enough to fall for your company's lies about how I could make money by selling your products/services to the general population. apparently there was some fine print I missed regarding the fact that I could only make money by encouraging my friends and relatives (most of whom already have real jobs and aren't interested) to join under me because what little I earned went directly to you. Sure, one of you paid me a little over $200 because the courts ordered you to pay. I still spent over $4,000 on your snake-oil products that "everyone" would want to buy. Meanwhile, you continue to live the high life with my and others' money. Oh, and that talk about "we're an inverted pyramid; you're actually at the top" is a crock of shit. The people at the pointed end still get most of the money.

P.S. To the company which claimed I could receive $2.5-million if I sent you a "required" $20 processing fee: nice try. Your company's name is plastered all over sites like the Better Business Bureau and RipOffReport.com. I've learned from my mistakes and will be reporting you to your local DA's Office.
