I think I've got a local fur meet version of PCD. I'm also about to write a "depressed rambling emo rant," so I'll put it under a cut to save everyone the pain of scrolling through it.

If the blood test lab is open today, I'll make an appointment for next Thursday (if available.) I'll be picking up the pre-test pill today since my health insurance is active again.

I'll meet with Freddie Tuesday night so I can call some more of the people on my Primerica prospect list. I've left messages for the people who signed up for my web business, but they haven't called back yet.

Oops, I did it again. I slept from about 7-11 a.m., then got up instead of getting some more sleep before my Primerica meeting tonight.

The latest person who signed up at my Web business changed his mind by the time I called him. I may move up the date for dumping the business by a 2 or 3 months if things don't start happening. This way, I'll have an extra $100-200 each month.

I am officially broke again. Well, not quite. I have $18 in my checking account, but $0 in my wallet. I arranged to use $100 of each Metro paycheck for my Visa bill, and $50 for my MasterCard bill. I will work as hard as possible to get my first commission from the Web business and/or Primerica before leaving on vacation. I made an appointment for Freddie and I to prepare a Financial Needs Analysis for one of the KRCC DJs.

REMEMBER: Get documents ready for next Thrivent appointment.

I'm having more panic attacks due to my financial situation (and because of the police radio in the other room.) My vacation shopping should be all finished now, so I can concentrate on building up my account again.

I received another match from the dating service yesterday. The service said this woman pre-approved me, so I hope that's a good sign. My $84 transfer from PayPal into my checking account should happen Thursday or Friday, which would give me enough if we schedule a date for this weekend.

I slept almost the entire day after getting home yesterday, so I should be able to stay awake this morning to follow up with more of my web business prospects. I need to sign up at least two prospects by August to guarantee I can afford the Halloween cruise, just in case the Trek settlement doesn't arrive by then.

Sharon is back at work! I thought she had quit for good when Robin left, but she was either on vacation or was able to be lured back.

I hope this stuffiness isn't a cold. It doesn't feel like one, but it feels slightly worse than a normal stuffy nose.

If Chad has returned from the Panama conference, I'll ask him for help with filing my business tax return. I don't know if I did something wrong using TaxAct.com or if I simply won't get a refund due to no sales. I haven't actually filed the return yet because I don't want to risk having even more money taken out of my accounts.

I'd better print out a list of the web business prospects I need to call today. I need to make some sales in case my Trek settlement doesn't arrive before August, otherwise I may not be able to go on the Halloween cruise.

I read an article this week about how Xenical/Orlistat is being released in an over-the-counter form. The OTC version will be half the strength of the prescription version.

I received a $62 car insurance dividend check over the weekend. After depositing it today, I'll use the money to make a MasterCard payment. I used the card to pay for my medication refills, so the card only has $19 in available credit.

The web business is only playing pre-recorded calls this week during the usual 1 p.m. slot because most of the call hosts are attending a company conference in Panama.

I was unable to fall asleep after getting home from work Sunday. I made the cruise alumni chat, but I only got about two hours of sleep afterward. Luckily, I shaved and showered around 2 p.m., so I didn't have that to worry about when I woke up.

I finally polished off the orange-flavored rum that I bought for the last cruise. I thought about using the mouthwash bottle I kept the rum in to store Red Bull or some other energy drink.

I'm anxious to both make my first paying sales for my web business and get my Trek settlement. I'll take a nap from about 6-10 a.m., then make some follow-up calls to the prospects on my list with high ratings. I have until August to make my final cruise payment, but I want to book my flight to Orlando before all the First Class seats are taken.

Actually, I need to mail a bunch of letters (including some bills), so I'll have to squeeze that in between the nap and prospect calls.

PAY DAY!

Since I don't have a date this weekend :b , I'll keep as much money as I can in my checking account until the beginning of February (when my KRCC check comes in.) This way, I won't be penalized for having less than $500 in the account. On February 5th -- the Monday before my next Metro pay day -- I'll withdraw enough money to bring by Visa balance below the limit again.

What an uneventful week this has turned out to be. 272 days until the cruise!

I've been taking naps between about 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., making it more difficult to fall asleep at my regular time (between 2 and 3 p.m.) This also means I haven't made as many calls to my web business prospects. I'll be sure to make more calls today.

I'm not sure if I'll actually get any replacements for my web prospects with wrong numbers. The site where I bought them says I need to report wrong numbers within 7 days of getting them, and its been almost two weeks. As Tourette's Guy would say, I guess I'm out of the butt and into the fuck (or was that a song by Neil Young?)

Since I listed chocolate as one of my interests, the Google ads next to the entry screen have links to sites about chocolate. It's making me drool! ;-).....

Wednesday and Thursday are supposed to be pretty decent compared to last weekend. Let's see what the weekend forecast is like... [watching TV forecast] ...ewww! 18 for Friday, 14 for Saturday, and snow both days. Sunday's forecast wasn't listed, but I don't want any snow spoiling my movie date.

I went to 7-Eleven before work tonight, so I've got a burrito and a pink frosted sugar cookie to keep me happy!

I'll probably go right to bed after getting home. I need to stop being lazy and actually make some more calls for my web business, so the early nap will give me more call time during the morning. I should be getting a few more new prospects since some of my original ones had disconnected or wrong phone numbers.

I brought my home VCR to work today. I turned it on, but only got audio without a picture. When my Trek settlement arrives and my web business orders start coming in, I may consider buying a professional-quality VCR (after I pay down my loan and credit card, of course.) I called the rest of the prospects on my list yesterday. Later today, I'll call back some of the prospects who didn't answer last time.

I have to check on the status of my KRCC year-end paycheck today. If it's not deposited today, I'll ask my date if we can reschedule our meeting for next weekend.
jcollie719: (Default)
No one will be in the payroll office until Friday. If my paycheck isn't deposited by then, I may need to postpone my date until next weekend. I just hope my eye doctor's check takes a few more days to clear, otherwise I'm in the red again.

I left messages with a few other prospects from my web business. There better be at least one or two people on my list who actually want to sign up for the business. I can't currently afford to buy any more leads or resume my Google AdWords account.

Conan O'Brien did another installment of "Stump Max Weinberg" last night (the sketch where Max is placed in a soundproof booth, then others talk trash about him.) The segment had even more problems than the last time they did it: The booth was wobbly and the door came open, then La Bamba flubbed one of his lines.

I transfered the $100 from my overdraft account into my checking account. Even though pay day is tomorrow, I want to make sure I have enough for my last bill of the month on either the 13th or 16th. When I make my loan payment tomorrow, I'll see if I qualify for additional funds. I still have some of my watches left from an unsuccessful auction, so I plan to put those up on eBay again.

I slept all morning yesterday and my DSL stopped working for a few hours, so I didn't make any prospecting calls. There's another group prospecting call tonight at 5:00. I still need to ask my sponsor about the lead service he recommended (I believe it's called Santiago Leads.) I couldn't find a website with that name.

23 days until the cruise! I only wish I didn't have to wait until at least February for the Trek settlement so my accounts and credit cards could have some breathing room.

My grandmother and one of my uncles will be visiting in a couple of weeks. They're only staying for two days, though.

I'll try to clear all of the junk in front of my TV today. UPS tried to deliver my new TV Friday, but no one was home. They left a note saying they'd try another delivery Monday between 10 AM and 2 PM.

I was unable to access the Friday and Saturday prospecting calls for my web business. I posted a three-month online want-ad for the business at the New York Times' site for $175. A two-day ad in the national print edition would have cost over $1,300.
jcollie719: (Default)
I fell asleep after coming home from work, so I decided to stay up tonight. I also stayed up to participate in a conference call for my second web business.

Tonight I'll mail a few more invitations to my first web business. I finally bought some card stock for my printer. One of the new leads I got last week opened the company's e-mail invitation, so I hope I'm on my way to actually earning money in this business.
jcollie719: (Default)
Over the weekend I called 411 to get the phone number of one of my prospects who I had trouble reaching. It turns out he had entered the wrong area code on his application. Either that, or the area code he entered isn't in service yet. I forwarded the correct number to my sponsor, so hopefully we'll be able to sign him up.

I still have only three prospects. None of the leads I received have signed up, and only a few of them have opened the e-mail inviting them to my website. I posted my ad in several Usenet groups. One person accused me of spamming (I posted a job-related announcement in a job-related newsgroup, so it's not spam) and printed my contact information in his/her response. That's no big deal since that information is available at my website anyway, and it's only one complaint out of 200 or so newsgroups.

One of my teeth which hurts occasionally is hurting again. Earlier today, I accidentally bit down too hard and caused the tooth to REALLY hurt.

I've been looking at some house plans at the coolhouseplans.com site. I found two that I really like. One is about 3100 square feet, and the other is over 4000 square feet. Both are single-level homes with basements. They would make great dream homes if my web business is able to take off.

I'm still debating whether to pay my $150 loan in full on Friday or just pay $75 (plus interest) during the next two paydays. I'll have over $684 when Friday's Metro paycheck is deposited, which would become less than $340 if I paid the full loan amount plus my $150 car payment on the 15th.

I looked on the administrative site for my web business and found over two dozen people provided by a "leads" company were listed under my website. I'll have to ask my sponsor if they've officially signed up yet. That would be AWESOME if all, or even most, of them joined my payline and found prospects of their own.

Speaking of money, I need to ask my sponsor if the company sends tax statements to its clients or if they're available online.
