This amenities kit was given to me before my 2016 cruise in Grenada and St. Vincent & The Grenadines. My flight from Colorado Springs included stops and plane changes in Dallas and Miami. According to the airline, my suitcase made it to Miami, but the airline forgot to put my suitcase and another cruiser's suitcase on the plane to Grenada. I was given this amenities kit at the Grenada airport. It contains a toothbrush, toothpaste, a combination brush and comb, and small containers of deodorant and hair spray.

I had a two-day stay in Grenada before my cruise. My suitcase finally arrived on the morning before the cruise departed.

There's plenty of similar calendars as well. I didn't realize the market for pooping dog calendars was so high!

The light bulb in my bedroom lamp burned out this week. I wouldn't make a big deal out of that normally, but the lamp uses a specific type of bulb instead of the ones most light fixtures use. I ordered a box of bulbs which I hope will actually fit the lamp. The lamp's warning label said to only use an S11 bulb, but that's the type of glass. I don't know if the base of the bulb is the right one, but it looks like the old bulb.

From now on, I'll get any needed injections in my right arm. I got my COVID shot in my left arm, which makes it difficult to sleep on my left side.

 
This morning, my bathroom scale had a reading I haven't seen in several years: 299.6 pounds! Yes, that's less than half a pound below 300 and having a light meal will put me above 300 again, but this was a goal I wanted to reach before the end of the year. I'm actually surprised I lost weight since I had fast food with actual meat for lunch yesterday. I guess the exercise I got with DoorDash deliveries afterward helped burn off some of those calories.

Further Confusion published its "fursuit photo" for 2021. Participants merely gathered on Zoom and the staff compiled screen captures of everyone. I'm in the fourth row down and third from the left. I was happy to find I was put next to Cassidy Civet! I also recognize Joe G. Bear further to the right, who I met last year at Furry Fiesta.

I ordered the "Saturday Morning Cartoons" CD, which has rock/pop covers of cartoon theme songs. Romeo has played at least two of the covers (Underdog and Spider-Man) on the Rabbit Hole.

I had a singles meetup yesterday at the Blue Moose Tavern in Green Mountain Falls. I wanted to use my dashcam to record the trip through the mountains, but the dashcam wasn't charged. I ordered two jack-and-cokes, some cheese curds and a small "blue buffalo" pizza: bleu cheese sauce, buffalo chicken, bacon and peppers. Thankfully, the menu didn't include raccoon balls dipped in soy sauce (Saturday Rabbit Hole reference!)

Kijani Lion's game show stream is happening now on Discord. I didn't qualify for the Press Your Luck game, but I should be able to play Furry Feud a bit later. The stream had an early start this week, so it shouldn't overlap with The Rabbit Hole like it did last time.

This coming Tuesday, the "Hops and Chasers" group will meet again at the Smiling Toad bar. I sent Boomer a picture of the bar's funny announcement about the requirement to wear a mask.

The furry photo shoot before FoxTrot had a good turnout. Seven suiters and a few more non-suiters showed up. The shoot happened in a park near I-25 and Speer Blvd. so the downtown Denver skyline was in the background. The parking lot we were originally going to use was closed due to being used as overflow parking for the Rolling Stones concert that night at Mile High Stadium. The photos turned out great, though I was slightly embarrassed about seeing my shirt partially un-tucked. That's what happens when I can't wear glasses under my suit and/or don't have a good friend as a handler.

I had forgotten my cooling vest again, so I only suited at FoxTrot for about 15 minutes. The promotional video for FoxTrot was shown at the meet. The brief footage taken of me dancing in suit didn't make the final cut. A few minutes ago, I bought a ticket for the end-of-September FoxTrot being held at the Roxy theater.

KRCC's time card site either didn't work correctly or my password has expired. The payroll office is closed for the weekend, so I hope I can get help on Monday. I split this month's phone payment into two in case this month's SSI check isn't deposited before Friday.

A hybrid car is one of the items I'd like to eventually own. Of course, I'd also need a home with a garage so I could recharge the battery.

I made another batch of bacon chocolates this week. I used thicker-cut applewood bacon this time, which I can actually taste over the rich chocolate. Some of the molds didn't have enough of the chocolate pushed all the way down, so they look a bit rough but taste wonderful!



I'll be making a third batch shortly before my vacation, using a smaller mold so the chocolates aren't as thick.

I made an album for the pictures/videos I took on day 3 after my camera decided to erase everything from days 1 and 2.
