I cancelled my room reservation for Furry Fiesta since I want to save the money for DenFur in August.

My brother said he will look for newer but still used Subaru Impreza models at a local dealer. I saw a few models on the dealer's website.

UPDATE: My new car will be a silver 2024 Impreza. It only has 1,919 miles on it, so it's practically new.

The hotel room sign-ups for Furry Fiesta opened Tuesday. I got a single King room.
"The forbidden fruit was named Danny."

Tonight, I'm planning to see both Crusader and Rhythm Bastard perform, and also see the Card Sharks game.

I made it to Dallas in one piece. The hotel's main garage was full when I arrived. I had to park in the other garage within the convention center.

Registration for Furry Fiesta went quickly for me since I registered at the Sponsor level. The con had a special line for Sponsors and Super Sponsors. The only event I have planned for tonight is the 1950s-'60s dance party. Alexander James Adams will perform tomorrow night, then I'll attend the Jackbox Games panel.

I need to prepare some playlists when I get home. I just heard Romeo will be taking a break after this weekend.

I found a Saturday Night Live sketch that had eluded me two years ago. The season 12 episode hosted by Joe Montana and Walter Payton started with a parody of the "Super Bowl Shuffle" called "We Are the Kickers." This sketch and others were cut out of the episode on the streaming services I browsed. I was able to find the complete episode today on the Internet Archive.

I'm almost halfway packed for the trip to Furry Fiesta. I need to pick up a few more items today.

Furry Fiesta officials released a schedule of furry musicians slated to perform this year. Hopefully the rest of the schedule will be released soon since the con is only 14 days away.

A wasp just flew over to one of my windows. I hope this doesn't happen too often this year. I'll let the exterminator know about this when he visits again in April.

An earlier rainstorm and sub-freezing temperatures caused many of the sidewalks to become icy. I walked very carefully to avoid slipping.

Dad told me my federal tax refund will be $5,757. If all goes well, the money should be in my account in three weeks, which is the week before Furry Fiesta.

42 days until TFF!

I actually got to sleep in on Tuesday. A group of maintenance workers had been working on the rain gutters and drainage ditch near my condo for the past week. They usually wake me up at 8 AM with their work, but on Tuesday they didn't start until noon.

I'll be doing some DoorDash deliveries today since I need to go out to pick up a medication refill. I ordered dinner from Chili's to pick up after I'm done.

I'm thinking about renting a car for my trip to Furry Fiesta next year (and Anthrocon, if I can go.) My Subaru is 18 years old and has driven over 177,000 miles. The trip to Dallas is only about 750 miles, but Pittsburgh is more than 1,400 miles away. I'd hate to have anything go wrong on such a long trip.

Well, I managed to avoid getting doughnuts after last night's Avian Invasion stream. However, I did get a 4-pack of cookies from a shop I hadn't tried before called Insomnia Cookies. My favorite cookie flavor was French toast.

I was looking at which furry conventions I wanted to attend next year. Further Confusion happens on or around my birthday every year (It'll end on my birthday in 2024.) If I am lucky enough to find a job before then, I hope I'll be able to get the time off for FC. If not, Texas Furry Fiesta in March is another option. I really want to attend Anthrocon and Mephit Fur Meet next year. I may have to skip DenFur again if I choose either AC or MFM. So many cons, so little money!
