The family friend from Pittsburgh took me food shopping at Costco this morning. I should have enough food to last a month or so. I thought I had picked up a pack of regular hot dogs, but they were footlong hot dogs. If I can't find buns for them, I'll get some regular hot dog buns and cut the hot dogs in half.

Costco is awesome. :D

That's one option. Another is chopping them for recipes that call for hot dog pieces. Hot dog bits are good in macaroni, for instance, or some casseroles. They'll work in Hamburger Helper. It's a classic ingredient for "what can I make with what I have?" recipes too.
