Dad had bought more hot dogs than he needed, so he gave me a pack of them. Tomorrow I'll get some buns and cheese to pair with the hot dogs.

Dad was able to find a buyer for the van he had. The van was used to transport my mom after she became wheelchair-bound in 2006.

One of my meetup groups met Wednesday at a downtown bar. This bar has a large patio for people with dogs. One of the group members brought a Shetland sheepdog (a.k.a. a mini collie) with one blue eye and one brown eye.

I'll be accompanying my dad to the Space Force base tomorrow to hopefully pick up my visitors pass.

I picked up some Easter candy during my last grocery trip. I got some KitKat bunnies and Starburst jellybeans.

A family friend has expressed interest in having me cook her a meal. I've been looking for specific recipes because she can't eat certain foods. I found a sweet potato and quinoa stew recipe, and I can pair that with a few side dishes.

My dad and brother called me tonight to get more information about my accident and the car's condition. Since I got over $2,900 from my insurance company, my brother offered to look for a used car similar to mine. Since the car would cost more than $2,900, Dad offered to pay the difference. It's a shame I have to let go of my Subaru soon, but it would have happened eventually. It served me well for 20 years.

I didn't plan anything for my birthday today. I will have a birthday dinner with Dad on Friday. I let him know I'd like Mexican food.

I need to get back to doing DoorDash deliveries, but I want to wait until my leg wound is more fully healed. Right now, I have to take it easy going up and down stairs.

My oldest brother was able to come over to bring my suitcase inside my condo. Now I can sleep well with my APAP machine again.

I'll be seeing an orthopedic specialist tomorrow to get an MRI for my right leg.

I thought I was going to miss FoxTrot's annual Howl-O-Ween party this year due to my cruise. A poster just released says Howl-O-Ween will be on October 19th, which is one week before I leave for the cruise. Now I just hope I don't catch a cold or anything worse at the party.

Dad and I had dinner with my brother's friend tonight. Tomorrow, the friend and I will go to Costco while Dad is at church. I thought I would only get a couple items on my list, but the shopping trip will include groceries. I cleared some extra space in my refrigerator.

My new passport should arrive in late-September or early-October, in plenty of time for my cruise.

Dad gave me both some bad news and some unusual news. The bad news was that my sister fell and injured both her legs. She is expected to need at least 6 weeks to recover. The unusual news involves a friend of one of my brothers. Dad said this friend is going to visit him, and she wanted to take me on a Costco shopping trip. I was planning on getting some more clothes before my cruise, so this news came at a good time.

For tonight's dinner at Pueblo Viejo, I ordered a combination plate with a chile relleno and a taco, plus a blue margarita. Everything tasted great. For dessert, my dad ordered 3 sopapillas. The restaurant misinterpreted this as 3 orders of sopapillas instead of 3 individual sopapillas. My dad, his friend and I asked for boxes to take the extras home.

My dad told me he wanted to make me a hamburger for dinner tonight, but he didn't have any hamburger buns. Instead, he rolled the hamburger into the shape of a hot dog and served it in a hot dog bun. I remarked that it was similar to a Dutch frikandel.

There was a very light snow tonight. I did a few GrubHub deliveries after dinner. I could only sign up for a half hour with DoorDash on Saturday, but I'll go longer if enough deliveries are available. Saturday is 4/20, so demand for food should be higher than normal.
