I wanted to accept a two-delivery UberEats order listed for today, but I wasn't sure how big the orders would be. The last time I accepted a three-delivery order, I discovered two of the orders would not have fit in my car. I wish UberEats would let its clients review the exact contents of the orders to make things easier.

I made over $300 last week doing DoorDash and UberEats deliveries. A large portion of the UberEats deliveries were made to the Fort Carson Army base. Getting on base is sometimes tedious because there's a long line to get on base during certain times. Thankfully, the digital pass linked to my driver's license is good until April 4th, so I still have a few days of less hassle.

I wish getting gas didn't take about one-third of my earnings. At least I use the Upside app to get a few dollars back.

UberEats' GPS system reads the initials N, S, E and W as directions. I had a delivery Sunday from Rock N Roll Sushi, which the GPS read as "Rock North Roll Sushi." Later, directions involving Milton E. Proby Parkway were read as "Milton East Proby Parkway."

I helped my dad make another of my mom's recipes Friday. This time it was spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce was completely made from scratch. I took home some of the sauce and meatballs after dinner, and Dad had given me a box of spaghetti with my groceries on Thursday.

The job recruiter originally lowered the price for his latest service to $100. When I went to pay, I was charged $200. I told the recruiter I would want a refund if I wasn't hired by one of the ten jobs he would search for. I don't know if words on a computer screen would be the same legally as a written contract, but I took a screenshot of the conversation just in case.

I did some Costco shopping today to refill my freezer. I used the Costco gift cards I had to pay for it so I wouldn't take money from my account. Costco's chicken bakes are available in a frozen six pack. Of course, they're not as good as the freshly made ones in the food court area. For breakfasts, I got some breakfast burritos and chocolate croissants.

I thought my interview for the on-air talent position was supposed to be at 2 PM. I shaved and put on a tie for this. If I don't hear from anyone by 3:30, I'll go out and do deliveries.

UPDATE: The contact person told me the position was already given to someone else, but he offered to apply for me at 10 more positions. I asked him to guarantee I would be hired by one of the companies and took a screenshot of our conversation. I talked him down from $300 to $100.

UberEats gave me two shopping orders for Safeway one night. It was stressful for me because some of the items were unavailable due to the shelves being half empty. Also, my cell phone's battery died while I tried to check out. (I needed to scan a QR code on my phone to pay for the orders.) Thankfully a staff member offered to partially charge my phone so I could finish checking out.

The next day, I got another delivery that had to go to Woodland Park, a 40-minute drive northwest of Colorado Springs.

I'm glad I learned I don't need to leave a tip on every Fiverr order. My bank statement is cluttered with $8.78 withdrawals ($5 tip plus service fee.)

For the Rabbit Hole, I will need to take March 28th off as well. Back when the show was on Sundays, I was free to drive my dad to church on Saturdays. After the show moved to Saturdays, the driving was done by my brother and sister-in-law. Both of them will be going on a cruise over the next 7-8 days, so that means I'm the only one left to drive Dad to church tonight and next Saturday.

The depression part is knowing my dad will be very disappointed that my tax refund vanished within a week because it was supposed to last four months. The furry artists had started asking me to leave reviews for them on Fiverr by pretending to order more art. I thought they would use the money to pay down what I owed them for the art I actually ordered, but that wasn't the case. I sold some of my stocks from my Stash account to pad my account a little, but that is also running low. I really hate myself for allowing myself to be manipulated like this. I've been working extra DoorDash and UberEats shifts to make back at least a little money.

As the title says, I will not be doing a Rabbit Hole show this Saturday. I need to run an errand during RH's normal show time. I've also been feeling depressed and unable to focus on creating a show. I'm hoping to be back the following Saturday, March 28. If not, I will definitely be back on April 4.

I got a huge red flag this morning when the person supposedly hiring for a media position messaged me. I received all of the documents I had paid for, but the person's latest request is definitely not okay. After using legitimate methods to pay for the services, the person wanted me to make a payment by buying an Apple gift card. DON'T EVER DO THIS! IT'S A SCAM!

It's a shame that the position I'm applying for might not exist. I hate reaching out for help only to get hooked into a scam.

After driving my dad to a doctor's appointment today, he asked me to stop by a convenience store on the way home. He had a winning Powerball ticket worth $125. He got $70 in cash and some more tickets. He actually gave me one of the tickets for tonight's drawing, so I hope it's as lucky as his was.

I was contacted by someone hiring for a media producer and on-air role over the weekend. I had previously updated my resume and will hopefully soon update my LinkedIn profile. The hiring person is having me and another person design a Competency Mapping Sheet and 30, 60, 90 basic plan documents.

UPDATE (10:15 PM): Well, I only got one number to match on the Lotto ticket. I don't get to retire yet.

A couple of the furry artists I commisioned are in Europe. They don't seem to understand the time difference between Europe and America because they keep messaging me on Telegram between 3 and 5 AM when I'm usually asleep. The only time I see those messages is when I need to get up to pee. There really is no excuse for this when sites like worldtimezone.com can tell them the current time in any location.

The credit union I belong to is merging with another one. My credit union will soon be known as Wings Credit Union.

I changed my cell phone's do not disturb setting to turn off at 10 AM. I've been missing alerts for DeliverThat's catering orders which usually come in just after 10:00.

I celebrated "Pi Day" at Burger King today. They offered a free slice of apple pie or Hershey's sundae pie with a minimum $3.14 purchase.

I woke up to good news today. I checked my account, and my tax refund will be deposited on Monday. I will tell the artists I owe money to that I can pay them on Wednesday or Thursday.

The good news came after I woke up from a bad dream. I dreamt that I was driving and crashed my car into the end of a guardrail. I seemed to be all right after the crash and wondered why the airbag didn't deploy. I'm glad that was just a dream. I've only had my new car for a year and don't want anything bad happening to it.

There's another weather roller coaster this week. Saturday will have a high of 72 with a chance of snow Saturday night, while Sunday's high will only be 27. Next weekend will reach the low-80s.

Oh, yay! Dreamwidth is working again. I wasn't able to post a second journal last night.

I really need to watch my spending. I overdrew my account again, meaning my dad had to cover the overdrafts. I signed up for more DoorDash shifts this week and cancelled plans to attend a meetup today. Now that the sun sets after 7 PM, I can do more dinnertime shifts.

I had some blood drawn yesterday because I have a doctor's appointment next week. Since I needed to fast for this, I picked up lunch afterward.

Happy Birthday to "Bird One" of Avian Invasion (a.k.a. Matthew Ebel.) He's doing a special Twitch stream today. After he's done, I'll watch DJ SQWRL do his usual Tuesday mashup stream.

"Miss, are you telling us absolutely everything?"
"Not exactly. We're also out of coffee."

I had run out of coffee late last week. I had a large cannister of dark roast coffee and a smaller bag to have as a backup, with both being depleted by Saturday. I'll be buying another bag with some other groceries today, then I'll get a cannister on Friday.

With all the stress I've been under today, I really don't need anything else messing with my nerves right now.

I got awakened by one of the furry artists who did a ref sheet for me. Even though I corrected the artist, the ref sheet still incorrectly refers to Jerzei as a "border collie/fox hybrid." The artist tried to hit me up for more money, but I refused.

On Friday, I made some macaroni and cheese for dinner using my mom's recipe.

During the Rabbit Hole, the Second Life server disconnected around 3:45. I was able to reconnect a minute or two later.

Another round of snow is happening today. The snow is much heavier this time. The weekend and next week will be back in the 50s and 60s, with some low 70s the following week.

People were messaging me on Telegram around 6:00 this morning. I kept hearing Max Headroom's voice from The Art of Noise's "Paranoimia" saying "Please let me sleep."

There was some rain and snow last night. Most of the snow had melted before noon.

As I feared, the furry artist whose Telegram account was frozen signed up again under a new name. The first thing this jerk did was give me another "surprise" artwork I didn't want or need.

I drove to Dad's house today instead of walking. The weather was a bit chilly with some light rain. After working out, the rain became heavier with lightning and hail.

On Monday, I signed up for a Wednesday meetup at Voodoo Brewing. The RSVP list was full, and I was put on a waitlist. A spot opened up for me earlier today.
