Let it snow ... but not too much!

A blizzard is supposed to hit the area sometime today. So far, there's just been some light rain. I got most of my pre-cruise chores done yesterday in the event I wouldn't be able to get around today. I bought some bottled water and cereal bars to keep in the car in case I got stranded. I hope the overnight delivery service is able to deliver my medications to my house today or (at the latest) before 9 a.m. Friday.

After work today, I'll be answering the phones at KRCC for a few hours. As of last Saturday, the station had already raised more than $100,000 of its $185,000 goal for this membership drive. If all goes well, the drive should wrap up tonight or tomorrow.

In less than 36 hours, I'll be on my way to Florida! I still need to get out my suitcase so I can start packing.

I just read the FAQs on my medication provider's web page. They say processing a refill order usually takes a 1-3 days. I will definitely be racing a deadline to get my meds before I leave Friday.

When I got home from KRCC, there were snow drifts at least six inches high in front of the house. Driving was a bit tough since some of the roads were partially blocked by fallen tree branches.

My drug prescription is currently being filled. I don't think it's going to be here before I leave. If it arrives Friday afternoon, I may ask my dad to ship it overnight to the hotel. Instead of taking all three pills at once (twice a day), I'll take the Tegretol in the morning and the other two in the afternoon. I hope that doesn't cause any more anxiety.

I'll be in Florida in less than 24 hours!
