Well, I went ahead and took a Xanax after arriving at work, which means my plans for a drink are kaput for another two or three hours.  I may just pick something up on the way home.

I bought a universal remote for my new VCR, which didn't come with a remote.  I've been able to dub a couple of programs onto DVD:  a "Late Night with David Letterman" episode from May 1987 where he announces the show's upcoming trip to Las Vegas, and the Thursday night Vegas show.  This was back when "Late Night" only aired Monday through Thursday so "Friday Night Videos" could also occupy the 12:30 slot.

The tape also had some game shows, but the beginning segments had been erased.  One episode of the "$100,000 Pyramid" played for about 5 minutes, then the (USA) network stopped its broadcast and resumed with an episode of the "$25,000 Pyramid."

I hope my dad doesn't look at my credit union account balance for the next few days.  With my loan and online purchases, my checking balance went down to $33.  I transfered the $100 from my overdraft account to pad it until my Friday payday.

I bought some Mike's Light Hard Cranberry Lemonade at Safeway on the way home from work, along with a couple of California Pizza Kitchen Thai Chicken pizzas.

Oh, yeah.  It's only Monday.  I thought it was Tuesday for some reason.
