Getting another look at my laptop

I dropped off my laptop at a repair shop a couple of hours ago. This was the same shop that installed the 1GB memory stick in the laptop years ago. I explained that the laptop is lagging, possibly due to the laptop only recognizing the stick as 256MB, and I also mentioned the mouse track pad no longer works. It should be ready sometime next week.

I will likely need to replace my old iMac in the next 2-3 years. Ustream no longer runs on it because the site requires a more-up-to-date Flash player, which in turn requires a more recent version of Mac OS X (I currently have 10.2.8.) Updating the OS requires a processor my iMac doesn't have. I may just get a Macbook Pro when the time comes since I've thought about getting one for an in-home recording studio.
