Nearly 50% complete!
Nov. 12th, 2012 09:39 pmI couldn't pick up more phone books Sunday since the warehouse was closed. This morning, I picked up 150 books to go with the 130 or so so I had left over from my original pickup. I delivered over 200 of them today to part of an apartment complex, then went back to the warehouse to pick up another 200 for tomorrow.
I'm about halfway done with the deliveries now. The people at the warehouse said it was okay if I took a few extra days to complete delivery since the Tuesday "due date" isn't a strict deadline. I would need to deliver an average of about 190 books per day to finish this route in three days. Once that's done, I'll see if there's a smaller and/or closer-to-home route I could do.
My legs were killing me Saturday since some of the houses on my route have second-floor front doors, giving me more of a workout.
