Getting more money out of my phone
Dec. 15th, 2020 10:04 pmI've been using two smartphone apps to earn cash back on certain purchases. I installed the Dosh app last year, which I used to book motel rooms during my trips to and from Furry Fiesta. Last week, I installed a similar app called GetUpside. It offers cash back on gas for DoorDash drivers as well as cash back at certain stores and restaurants.
During my last shopping trip, I got two flavors of "mug cake" mixes: birthday cake and cinnamon roll.
I was listening to KRCC tonight since the station plays music from 8-11 PM on weeknights. I heard a mellow song called "Namasté" by the Beastie Boys. The original is on the 1992 "Check Your Head" album, but the track KRCC played was the instrumental version from the 1996 album "The In Sound from Way Out!" I heard it and thought "That's a good song for 4:20!"
