Not much room on the dial

I looked up whether or not a new non-commercial FM station could be built in Colorado Springs. As I expected, there aren't any open frequencies close enough to Colorado Springs for a full-power station. The closest site I could find was far to the southeast in Fowler. The signal from there could reach Pueblo but not Colorado Springs (except maybe the extreme southeast edge using a good antenna.)

The FCC's LPFM channel finder shows a few available frequencies in parts of Colorado Springs. FM 93.9 should be available since KCMJ-LP shut down a few months ago.
