One week until vacation!
Mar. 9th, 2022 06:12 pmIn a week from today, I'll be heading to Dallas for Furry Fiesta! I downloaded more music onto the flash drive I use for road trips since my car stereo has two USB ports.
I was going to make spaghetti for dinner tonight, but the slow cooker's pot needs to be cleaned. I put it in the dishwasher and will make the spaghetti for dinner tomorrow.
I scheduled a "Hold Mail" request with the USPS for the weekend I'll be in Dallas.
I'm about $4 away from earning a 20-cents-per-gallon discount on gas at Safeway stations. That should put the price back where it was about 3 hours ago. ;) I originally budgeted $50 each for two of the fill-ups in Colorado and $40 each for three others in Texas since Texas gas tends to be slightly lower in price. I adjusted my budget to $50 for all five fill-ups. That would buy 12.5 gallons each time at $4 per gallon. At the moment, several of the stations along my route in Colorado and Texas range from around $3.75-$4.05.
