Looking for an old song

After DenFur wrapped up, a Colorado-based furry group announced plans for a new convention next year. The new con will be called Furst Light. I think this is the con that was originally announced as Colorado Anthro Wilds a few months ago.

I need to dig through my old cassette tapes to see if I still have a specific tape I compiled while being a student DJ. I'm trying to find a really funky version of the song "Take the 'A' Train" with the melody played on electric guitar and keyboards. I believe it came out sometime in the late-1980s since I first heard it in 1990-91. I can't remember the musician/group's name and it's not coming up on a web search.
