Grateful for a helping hand
Apr. 5th, 2023 08:04 pmI got the blood test results from Tuesday's physical. My cholesterol is high and my Vitamin D level is low. I'm taking steps to correct those.
I signed up for a free consultation with a professional broadcaster who is now a media "headhunter." Rob Barnett is the former president of CBS Radio. I'm thankful that he pointed out a typo on my LinkedIn profile since I hadn't noticed it. He sent me a link to a media industry site and a digital copy of his book which has lots of useful information. He also suggested getting more professional equipment to take advantage of remote opportunities, and to contact him if I find an opening at the Audacy stations in Denver (Audacy used to be CBS Radio.)
Barnett also offers other consultations for a fee. I may take advantage of those if I feel confident enough about my chances of getting hired.
