My sleep schedule has been out of whack all week. I thought it was back to normal on Thursday, but I needed a nap around 2 PM. I set my cell phone's alarm to wake me at 6 PM so I could shower and go to the AuroraFurs meet. I missed the alarm because my cell phone turned itself off due to a drained battery. I woke up at 6:40, then went back to sleep from about 7 PM to 2 AM.

Coincidentally, this is the second time I tuned into Puls Radio on iTunes after waking up overnight and heard the song "Insomnia 2013" by DJ Analyzer vs. Cary August a short time later. This song repeats the lines "I can't get no sleep" and "I need sleep." I use a store brand equivalent of Unisom to try to sleep, but lately it only works for 2-4 hours.

I'm also worried that my irregular sleep pattern is affecting my appetite (and vice versa.) While I haven't been compulsively eating, there have been nights when I realize I haven't eaten anything since morning. This often causes me to wake up hungry in the middle of the night, further affecting my sleep pattern.
