Never-ending Reg LIIIIIINE!

jcollie719I left the motel in Childress around 11:30 and picked up lunch at a Dairy Queen down the street. I got a chicken fried steak sandwich called "The Dude," one of the Texas-exclusive DQ items. I refilled my gas tank in Henrietta, then arrived at the hotel in Dallas around 3:50.
"Let me tell you what I say when I'm standin' in a funky reg line: I say shhhh-SUGARRRR!"
From now on, I'll register at the Sponsor level or higher. The line for attendees began forming at 6 PM. The "line before the actual reg line" had already wound its way across the length of the conference center when I got there at 6:15. I got to the front around 8:45, then got through the real reg line just before 9:00.
While waiting, I actually though of a mashup of Pepper Coyote's "Reg Line" and Limahl's "Never-ending Story" called "Never-ending Reg Line."
