Overcoming a hurdle

jcollie719Some weeks, putting a show together happens smoothly. Other times, I get the musical equivalent of writer's block. Looking at old playlists usually helps me overcome this. I've got half of this weekend's show planned so far.
The entry I made last week mentioning leaving the hospital with both legs intact wasn't entirely made in jest. When the orthopedic doctor first saw my wound, he said amputation or plastic surgery would be likely. I'm very thankful those weren't necessary.
