More moaning about my salary (sorry!)

I know I was made a full-time employee sometime before last April (when I had my car accident), so I'll wait until March or April to ask for a raise. The bills leading up to my January cruise were huge, so I only have a total of about $1500 in my savings and checking accounts.
I've signed up for a service which pays people to take surveys. Unfortunately, the survey takers only get entered into a drawing for cash & prizes instead of receiving a regular paycheck.
If I get hired by the two Denver stations looking for employees, I hope I can earn a decent wage. The stations are located in Lakewood, so hopefully the commute won't be as bad as driving all the way into Denver. Even if the salary is pitiful by Denver standards, I hope it'll be good enough for a Colorado Springs commuter.
