jcollie719There were tons of bagels today at the KRCC open house/membership drive, so I toasted a couple of them and topped them with some pepper jack cheese, then warmed a few scones for dessert. I felt keyed up at times, especially when people brought their kids. Luckily as I was getting ready to leave, I saw some of the staff were looking after a member's border collie while the member took a tour of the studio. I petted the dog for a bit, then renewed my own KRCC membership before heading home.
It began snowing overnight, but temps are supposed to get back to the 60s and 70s by Thursday. I don't want a repeat of last year, when I slipped on the icy pavement at the airport and landed on my back. Thankfully, my padded jacket shielded me from any injury.
