Double-Googled

My credit card statement shows two $82.10 charges and a $52 charge for Google AdWords. These are only "temporary authorizations" so far, but I'll notify Google if both of the larger charges become permanent. Thanks to this, I still need another $63 to pay off the cruise. I put a few more things up for auction on eBay and Yahoo! to raise the money. I haven't received word that my liquidation.com auction has been accepted, so I can't make any money off of those items yet. I'm thinking about pawning the scanner/printer/fax I bought a few months ago (but haven't used.) That's probably not worth much, though.

I applied to have the credit limit raised on my Visa card. If approved, the cruise payment should clear. A charge from one of my doctors was put on the card this afternoon, creating another roadblock.

I also left a message with my boss in Denver asking if I could get a raise sometime. The company hasn't given out raises since 2001. Its stock price has plummeted over the past six months or so due to the owners financial blunders.

My web business sponsor will contact several of my prospects tonight to see if he can get any to sign up. I also filed a complaint with the FTC and BBB against a company which ripped me off for almost $3,000. It would be nice to get a refund before the cruise.
