The company acted on my suggestion to run an antenna cable through the wall (over it, actually) and have the antenna located by the window to get clearer reception. The antenna is from the pre-HDTV days, so I'll try to find an affordable one which can pull in channel 5's HD signal.

Several of the CDs I received are foreign artists, so I may try to sell those on Amazon.com if I can't find buyers on eBay.

If working parents can have "Take Your Kids To Work Day," why can't the rest of us have "Leave Your Damn Kids At Home Day"? Not just for work, but for going to restaurants, movie theaters, shopping, etc. I figured adding the "damn" would reflect how many people feel when they see kids misbehaving in public.

I bought a new TV antenna specifically designed for HDTV for only $30. It's wider than I thought it would be, so I hope it fits on the windowsill at work.

The HDTV antenna turned out to be very directional. This means it can't pick up channel 5's HD signal since the office windows do not have a line-of-sight to Cheyenne Mountain, where the transmitter is. Hopefully the old antenna will keep doing a decent job.
