My medication refill arrived in the mail yesterday. That was perfect timing because I had been taking half-doses this past week and would have run out Saturday.

167 days until the cruise!

I know. I need to actually do some work now.

I tried to contact the national Applebee's headquarters through its Web site since its phone line closed about a half-hour ago. The site froze when I tried to access it from home. I wanted to let them know I wouldn't be patronizing them as long as their pop-ups ads kept disrupting my Web surfing.

I wish there could be a system similar to the V-chip that assigns digital codes to all TV commercials. That way, home viewers could use a device to block any ads they don't want to see (or want their kids to see.) This way, they don't need to change the channel and risk missing parts of a program.
