I haven't heard from my boss yet about the raise. I'll call him tomorrow afternoon if I don't get a call by then.

Tomorrow's KRCC pay check should be just barely enough to get my checking account out of debt again. My check to the DMV cleared Monday. I'll see if I can make a cash transfer from either of my credit cards before next Thursday.

EDIT: I have no idea why the DMV was cashed when I had post-dated it to the 21st, my next Metro payday. I have a USAA payment due on the 20th, but it will have to wait until the 21st since I don't...wait a minute, I'll see if I can make a credit card payment by phone or online.

I called my boss about 30 minutes ago. He wasn't in, but he'll call me back around 4:00.

Well, that's a little relief. I paid my insurance with my MasterCard. Tomorrow, I'll bring my jar of change to the credit union to deposit. I hope my KRCC paycheck puts me back on the plus side.

My boss forgot to call me back! I'll try to reach him tomorrow, but I was basically having anxiety attacks for about three hours. He didn't e-mail me either, since I just checked.

I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm tired, yet when I tried to go to sleep my body suddenly became alert and awake. It's as if my body is in some kind of Bizarro World. That's how my life seems since I work at night and get a low salary for a high amount of work. I'm still holding out hope that my raise will be approved. I'll try to relax over the next hour to see if that helps me fall asleep again. Venting on the computer sure helps, and it's much less painful that pounding on my desk at work (I had one of those fits this morning.)

If my jar of change has $7.77 or more, my checking account will actually have money in it, though not much. I can use my Visa or MasterCard to pay for the costume alteration and anything else next week. My next Metro paycheck will be partially eaten up by this month's loan payment, but the end-of-month KRCC paycheck will put most of that back.

The credit union reimbursed the $25 overdraw fee for my post-dated check to the DMV. The bank that actually cashed the check told me they don't put a hold on post-dated checks.
