What is wrong with my connection to LJ today? Most of the pictures aren't appearing, and several of the normally-pictoral links are just text links. I don't know if it's my connection or if LJ is experiencing problems.

I put my mini stereo in the entertainment center so I could take the box out of my closet. My dad says he'll try to look around my crawl space for the doorbell's transformer. I tried to look around down there, but I couldn't find the switch for the light and my flashlight wasn't bright enough.

I don't know what I did, but now my laptop continually launches my AOL browser automatically. If that keeps up tomorrow, I'll remove AOL and reinstall it.

Jay Leno just had Stuttering John put on a "mankini," the bikini-style outfit worn by Borat. That was disturbing, but at least he shaved down there.

I was surprised to hear that Howie Mandel liked going on cruises. He's fairly germ-phobic, and cruise ships can sometimes be breeding grounds for sickness. After my last cruise, I'll definitely bring some Airborne next time. I'm still unsure about being able to afford the Halloween cruise, but Carnival has a New Year's cruise sailing out of Galveston, TX. If the Singles Cruise company offers that one, I'll consider it.

I bought some DayQuil on the way to work to hopefully get rid of this cough and throat tickle. I can't believe it's been over two months since I caught my last cold, yet part of it still wants to stick around.
