Jan. 13th, 2008 01:31 pmThe overnight DJ that's on before me at KRCC didn't show up this week. I hope he didn't have to go in for another hernia surgery.
During my extended shift, one of the programs we normally run was replaced by another program. I got a few calls asking about it, including one guy who was extremely pissed. I began to doze off during the replacement program, either because of my long shift or because the program was excruciatingly dull.
To top things off, the Internet service at work wasn't working. I had to go to a nearby 7-Eleven to buy a paper just for the weather forecast. Luckily there's a TV in the studio which receives the local weather channel, so I got the hourly temperatures from that. Wednesday and Thursday are going to be torture weather-wise.
