Move It On Over...

One of the stories I used in my report this morning was about Colorado's "Move Over" law. It requires drivers to move into the left lane when a police car or other emergency vehicle is parked on the shoulder. While compiling the audio for sound bites, I included a clip from the George Thorogood song "Move It On Over."

There was a murder-suicide yesterday afternoon. One of the TV stations showed a photo taken by a neighbor of a sign taped to the victim's house reading "My wife is a cheating tramp."

I'm listening to Robert Schimmel's "Reserection" album and laughing my ass off! I love his style of comedy, especially since it doesn't rely on stock material like foreign taxi drivers and 7-Eleven workers or bad airline food. (Whew! The album ended right before my upstairs neighbor came home.)

I finally cleared most of the ice from the sidewalk in front of my door. I used a cup of hot water to melt the thicker patches, then chipped some of it away with a screwdriver and pried it off the pavement with a shovel. I just hope the water I used dries up instead of forming more ice.
