Dec. 2nd, 2008 10:24 amI'm currently on hold with the unemployment office again. They were supposed to begin paying me last month, but nothing's arrived yet. Their website tells me I don't have a claim filed with them, but when I try to file a claim, they say I already have one. I usually spend two hours or more on hold every time I call. If they could put in more phone lines and hire more staff, that would lower both the wait times and the unemployment rate.
EDIT: I finally got through to a live person after about 75 minutes. I was supposed to renew my claim in late-October, but I was on the Halloween cruise then. My claim was re-opened, and I need to report my KRCC income and other information every Saturday.
