Writer's Block: It worked for Norma Jeane

[Error: unknown template qotd] When I started in radio, I wanted to use an easy-to-remember name because some people have trouble spelling/pronouncing my last name. I first thought of using Jay Thomas, but I discovered there's already a comedian/radio host by that name. I used Tom Victor during my college radio days. Recently, I thought about doing a parody of "shock jock" radio shows using the name Tom Kavett.

Friday will be 70 days until Rocky Mountain Fur Con (and Indy Fur Con, for anyone going there.) It's also 138 days until Oklacon. I'm confident in my chances of being hired for Fort Carson's new dining hall once it's built. I just hope they'll let me have the time off for Oklacon after roughly 2-3 months on the job since Oklacon goes from a Wednesday to a Monday.
