Going in circles and getting nowhere
Aug. 16th, 2012 10:59 pmI had an interview today at an employment agency. I had originally applied for a customer service position with Wide Open West cable and completed some tests the night before. When I got to the interview, I was told that I didn't score high enough on the tests. The tests took about three times as long as they should have because they kept repeating questions three or four times. How many times do I need to say I've never stolen money from a workplace or that people shouldn't come to work drunk? Oh, well, it's their loss.
I was given five tests for another employer at the interview. I got a perfect score on three of the tests, 95% on the fourth and 83% on the fifth. This job would only last a month or two if I'm hired, but it's Monday-Friday and has decent pay. After taking the tests, I went to another site and found a radio announcer opening, but it's only on weekends.
