Driving in a winter wonderland

Nothing like skidding on ice to bring out the Tourette's in me. When I drove to KRCC yesterday, there were a few small icy spots but otherwise good driving conditions. By the time my shift ended, the snow and ice covered nearly all of the roads. I took it slow and stayed in control for most of the trip, but I did slide a couple of times while trying to stop at one light at the bottom of a hill. Thankfully I didn't hit anyone or anything else. I'm also glad the roads won't have as much traffic when I head back to work in a half-hour.
