Timing trip around the sunrise
Jan. 9th, 2018 03:47 pm30 days until Furry Fiesta! I found someone looking for room space last night. The EZCooldown vest I ordered is scheduled to arrive Friday night, and the travel case for my fursuit should arrive sometime next week. A few more items I ordered (fursuit brush, scent/disinfectant spray, etc.) should arrive sometime in mid- to late-January.
I revised my travel schedule to leave home around 3:45-4:00 AM. I plan to have breakfast in Raton, New Mexico from 6:15 to 7:00 AM so the sun will have risen by the time I need to head east on U.S. 87. During my 2011 trip to Oklacon, I had trouble seeing since the sun was rising as I was eastbound between Pueblo and La Junta. I should arrive in Dallas around 6:30-7:00 PM if traffic in the area isn't too bad.
