Dashing through the... ice

I did a couple of DoorDash deliveries Saturday night. There was an $8/delivery bonus being offered due to the snowy and icy weather. The roads and sidewalks were a little icy but not very slick. I made another $29 for Monday's payday. This week's weather will be a bit warmer with little to no snow in the forecast.

Change of dish plans

I was originally going to make sweet potato casserole for the singles Thanksgiving dinner, but someone else already signed up to bring that dish. I asked the host if there were any other dishes I could bring. She said the person who signed up to bring rolls and cranberry sauce couldn't make the party, so I offered to bring those. I will make the cranberry sauce myself, and I placed an order for 30 rolls from a local bakery. I will pick the rolls up on Wednesday. I need to buy 12 oz. of cranberries and some orange juice to make the cranberry sauce. The recipe makes 8-12 servings, which should be enough for the expected group of 20-30 people.
