I've scheduled an appointment to be trained to work at a local telemarketing company. I've made my feelings about telemarketers known on previous posts and I don't relish the thought of becoming one myself, but I need to do something to earn a living. I was asked to arrive Wednesday morning at 7:45 a.m., and the hours are weekdays from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. It's been over a month since I was told about the pay scale. I believe it's $7.50 an hour to start, $9.50 an hour if I continually meet my sales goals, and $11 an hour for weeks with perfect attendance.
