Writer's Block: Clock Punching

I also answered the telephone switchboard when the regular operator went to lunch or called in sick. I would eventually be moved around to other departments that were short-staffed, including loans, IRAs and Direct Deposit. I resigned six years later when I finally landed a job in my desired field of radio.
