Me Talk Pretty One Day for Toastmasters?

As of Monday, there's just 81 days until Rocky Mountain Fur Con!
Tomorrow morning, I'll clean up the stacks of paper, envelopes, magazines and other items collecting on and around my sofa. I wanted to take a short nap on the sofa between the "Rapid T. Rabbit" show and "Funday Pawpet Show." so the stuff on the end cushions is in a stack on the floor. Maybe I could clean the middle cushion as well since it's starting to get dirty from constant use.
One of the speeches in the main Toastmasters manual is an interpretive reading speech. A few members have read children's stories for this assignment. I'm currently going through my David Sedaris books to find one or two stories which can fit within the time frame (as well as some which don't have much cursing.)
