I read an announcement on the ColoFurs site about a furry get-together at the Balloon Classic on Saturday. I need to call the person who relieves me on Saturday at KRCC to see if he can come in early. Either that, or I'll see if the morning board operator can trade shifts with me this Saturday. It will be nice to actually get out and meet some local furries in person!

Sounds like a good reason to have a fur gathering! *grins*

This wuff will be at the Classic, but not sure Vargr will be able to make a gathering. Duty as crew to one of the pilots tends to quash any events during the morning - especially with a pilot who loves to try to set time and distance records for the flights out of there. We tend to get back to the field in time for the last of the vendors to close up shop and pull out.

However, if you happen to be at the field at "o-dark thirty", prior to the Pilot's brief and such, we'll likely already be setting up. Balloon is EZ2-105, and we'll be located somewhere on the hill near Prospect lake. Not sure the space yet, as they'll have the charts up on Friday's briefing and not before. But wuff's guessing it'll be somewhere around M3.
