Weight is down, along with my confidence

One thing that actually brightened my day was stepping on the scale and seeing my weight below 300 for the first time in 4-5 years.

I called Luce Research earlier today to let them know I couldn't make it in Tuesday or Wednesday. I thought I'd be able to take the bus to work this week. I forgot that the bus route through my neighborhood was one that was cut several months ago. The closest route to me is about 2 miles away, and I can't afford a rental car or a taxi. Also, my unemployment benefits expired 2 weeks ago. My account balance will be $0.00 until Friday, so I'm literally worthless to people who judge based on wealth.

I'm really worried about the next few days. I'm looking for more things I could do without. I plan to cancel subscriptions to the magazines I either don't read or rarely read anymore.
