Furry Fiesta: The Prequel

I'm in Addison, Texas for Furry Fiesta! More on that in a bit.
I took a sleeping tablet after my KRCC shift yesterday to try to fall asleep by 7 PM. Unfortunately, I kept having to pee every 20-30 minutes. I ended up getting about 3 hours of sleep.
I was worried that I wouldn't have enough time to catch my connecting flight in Salt Lake City. The scheduled take-off/landing times only left a 41-minute window to walk from Terminal E to Terminal B. On top of that, a problem with the Colorado Springs-to-SLC plane's beacon light caused a delay of 20 minutes. An agent at the boarding desk said passengers would be put on other flights if they missed their connections due to the delay. It turns out the flight more than made up for the delay, arriving in SLC about 9 minutes ahead of schedule. I got to my connecting flight to Dallas with time to spare.
After arriving at the hotel, I noticed a white powdery substance in the plastic bag holding my medications. The Monday segment of my pill case had popped open during the flight. I don't have any extra Buspirone with me (the Thursday-Sunday doses were unharmed) but I brought a bottle of an herbal anxiety remedy I sometimes use called Happy Camper.
I had lunch today at Manny's Tex-Mex, a restaurant about a half-mile from the hotel. Excellent food, fresh homemade guacamole and lots more at a great price!
Furry Fiesta officially begins tomorrow. One of the attendees was on the same airport shuttle bus as me, and more of my friends will be arriving tonight and tomorrow.
