Taking the next step

jcollie719The Toastmasters group which met last night seemed to enjoy the black bean dish I brought. There were only five people including the host and myself, so I got to take home some leftovers!
The host's house and property is similar to how I imagine my dream house: Small enough for one person to live in, but big enough to host a small gathering; on a large forested lot (about an acre) with a long driveway and ample guest parking. Also, even though the house is only a block or two away from a major city street, the trees and other foliage block out most of the distant traffic noise.
I finally called two employment agencies today. My therapist repeatedly recommended this, but I kept putting it off. I've filled out one agency's application; the other agency will e-mail an application in a day or two. A friend who applied with AddStaff also offered to see if they had any positions I could do.
