Bad news and sorta-good news

jcollie719I received a letter from USAA last week stating they were closing my claim from my October 1, 2010 car accident. USAA was unable to collect anything from the other driver who hit my car (and gave me false insurance information at the scene.) According to the letter, I could take the other driver to small claims court to try to recover the $500 deductible I had to pay to get the damage fixed. I'd really rather just put the whole thing behind me and move on.
I finally got a call back from someone at the new local radio stations. I had been leaving messages with them for a couple of weeks. The person who called me said they weren't currently hiring, but may hire more employees in a few months. He asked me to e-mail my resume to him (since I originally sent it to another staffer's e-mail.) My Vocational Rehab counselor is out of the office until next week, but I'll tell her about this when she gets back.
Rrrrr, I'm a bear (again.) Amazing how stretching out on the living room floor can be so relaxing for me.
