Slowly solving my VCR trouble.

The head cleaning cassette got rid of most of the static on the screen. There's still a small patch at the bottom which the tracking control can't get rid of, and the audio of what was on the tape before can still be heard faintly in the background. I forgot to bring the work VCR home on Friday (I only took home the remote), so I'll take it home today and get it repaired sometime this week.
I'm currently winning an auction for a professional VCR. The current price is $45, including shipping. The auction ends in 5-1/2 hours. My weekend CD auctions have put some money in my PayPal account, so I won't have to take as much out of my checking account, which now has a balance of $93. My KRCC paycheck from the end of last month will be posted to my account tomorrow.
I just realized I forgot to take the phones off of nighttime mode! I hope no one was trying to reach me.
