Everybody needs a little Pho Buddy

jcollie719I picked up the afternoon order yesterday at Macaroni Grill. The order said it had 25 items; it actually had enough food for 40 people. The bags barely fit in my car. As with a previous Drive order, the restaurant didn't have the order completely ready until more than 20 minutes after the pickup time. I didn't get the $2 on-time bonus again as a result. This order and the one I had to abandon due to a flat tire didn't have tips. At least the GrubHub shift after earned me over $50.
I had made an appointment online to get a new tire at Firestone. When I arrived this morning, the clerk said I wasn't in the system. I checked my e-mails and found one saying the appointment time I requested wasn't available. The clerk rescheduled me for Monday at 2 PM. I will need to replace all four tires since they are all getting low on tread.
One of the restaurants I had an order from on the south side is called Pho Buddy. I always think about a certain song by the late John Gerlock when I hear the restaurant name.
I got dinner at Wendy's yesterday before the GrubHub shift to try their new Bacon Pretzel Pub burger. It's a nice change of pace from their standard cheeseburgers.
